Our mission
Boston Global Medical Collaboration (BGMC) develops public conversations and professional learning around autism, neurodiversity and support across the lifespan. Our focus is the work between disciplines: how clinical assessment, brain science, psychology, education and rehabilitation can inform a more complete understanding of a person’s strengths, needs and everyday participation.
Questions change from early development and school participation to mental health, work, family life and adult services. BGMC’s learning agenda brings these stages into one conversation, with attention to individual differences and the perspectives of families and professionals. The September 26 public forum is an accessible starting point.

Our planned curriculum pairs developmental science and assessment with case discussion, clinical integration and reflection on practice. The March symposium examines emerging research; the summer intensive gives participants time to explore specific scientific and clinical topics in depth.

Four tracks help clinical, psychological, educational and rehabilitation practitioners relate shared concepts to their own responsibilities. Program enrollment, event participation and membership each have their own requirements.

The aim is to compare ideas thoughtfully with local service structures, school environments and family priorities, rather than assume that one approach fits every setting.
