Understand what your learning leads to.

Attendance, course completion, project work and continuing education describe different achievements. Each program will explain which recognition applies and what is required.

Clear distinctions, before you enroll

Attendance and participation

An attendance record confirms participation under the event's stated conditions. It does not by itself represent a professional credential or continuing-education credit.

Course completion

A completion certificate, where offered, depends on the program's stated requirements. These may include attendance, reflection or other learning activities.

Case projects

The annual pathway proposes an annual case project. Submission and assessment requirements will be described with the course materials.

Continuing education and CME

Credit is offered only when the specific activity, provider, eligibility, hours and completion requirements are confirmed. A reference to an institution or faculty affiliation is not evidence of accreditation.

Do not rely on a proposed credit total when making licensing or renewal decisions. Check the final activity-specific credit statement before enrollment.
